Dart League Rules
Game:
11 games of Cricket
Teams:
Teams consist of 4, 5 or 6 players. A team
needs at least 4 players per night however, each team is
allowed two matches per season where they have only 3
players without it being considered a forfeit. In order
for a player to play with a team he/she must have played
for that team at least one other time by halfway through
the season. The number of players allowed on the team
roster is 10.
Start Time:
8 PM. Two players must be present to start
by 8:15 PM or it is considered a forfeit. While we hate
to see a forfeit called as this is a recreational
league, there have been problems in the past with teams
who are consistently late and that is why we made the
rule. A match can be started with just 2 players from
each team present.
Scoring:
The board keeps the score for you. The board
reads on all flight hits (when a dart hits another dart
that’s stuck in the board). If a dart sticks in the
board but doesn’t register and it wasn’t a flight hit,
manually register the dart. If a game goes too many
rounds and the dart board cuts you off from finishing,
the board will declare the winner. (The team with the
most marks will win in this situation).
League Fees:
The league fees are $20 per team per
league night. 100% of the league fees are returned back
to the league in the form of prize money. As the dart
games go, the two competing teams split the cost of each
game. The visiting team is responsible for turning in
the score sheets to Blueberry Hill for both teams the
night of play. If score sheets are late by more than
one day a $5 fee will be deducted from the responsible
teams prize money and added to the end
of season's blind
draw tournament.
